Mais quelle est donc cette recette ? Des patates à la suédoise ? On est bien loin de l'Aubrac !!! Pourtant, elle compte parmi les recettes favorites de bien des producteurs de l'Association, qui n'en démordent pas de gourmandise ! Et en plus, elle est super facile et inratable !

Cette recette est excellente en accompagnement d'une belle pièce de viande à la poêle, d'un gigot ou d'une volailles rôtie. Elle est superbe aussi pour remplacer les patates à l'eau et surprendre vos invités lors d'une raclette !

Préparation : 15 min / Cuisson : 45 min

Les ingrédients

Pour 4 personnes

4 pommes de terre moyennes (pour la variété de Pépites, préférez la MonaLisa ou l'Agata)

1 cuillère à café de beurre par pommes de terre

Fleur de sel

Poivre du moulin

Des épices : paprika et origan ; thym et romarin (frais de préférence)

Etape 1

Préchauffez le four à 180°C (therm. 6)

Lavez les pommes de terre, pelez-les (si vous ne désirez pas manger la peau, nous, on aime ça).

Etape 2

Entaillez-les dans le sens de la largeur à intervalle régulier (3 à 5 mm), en veillant à conserver chaque pomme de terre entière.

Pour vous aider,vous pouvez poser deux baguettes chinoises autour de la pomme de terre, afin de bloquer la descente de votre couteau.

Etape 3

Etalez une bonne couche de beurre bien répartie sur chacune vos pommes de terre. Parsemez de sel, poivre, paprika, origan, thym et romarin.

Etape 4

Placer les pommes de terre sur une plaque de cuisson (ou dans un plat allant au four).

Faire cuire environ 45 min.

Notre grain de sel

Certains préfèrent placer le beurre dans les entailles, plutôt que de l'étaler sur la surface de la pomme de terre. Ils ajoutent alors un filet d'huile d'olive sur les pommes de terre après y avoir parsemé sel, poivre et aromates.

Une fois la cuisson faite, on peut (aussi) placer les pommes de terre dans une assiette et verser dessus un joli jus de viande.

La version gourmande

Pour une version croisée Aubrac x Suède, après avoir étalé le beurre et saupoudré de paprika, insérez dans les fentes de la pomme de terre des tranchettes de tome fraiche d'aligot, de Laguiole ou de Cantal selon vos goûts. Salez et poivrez (oubliez le thym, le romarin et l'origan). Miam !
